A missing tooth, replaced for good
An implant is a fixed root for a new tooth — you brush it, bite with it, and forget which one it was.
Open Mon–Sat 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM · Sun 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
What It Is
In plain words
An implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone where a tooth is missing. Bone grows around it and holds it firm, the way it once held the root of your own tooth.
Once it has settled, a crown is fitted on top — shaped and shaded to sit alongside your natural teeth. Unlike a denture, it does not come out at night, and unlike a bridge, the teeth beside it do not have to be cut down.
Who It Is For
It may be right for you if…
- You have lost one tooth — or several — and want a fixed replacement
- Your denture slips when you eat or speak
- A tooth is too damaged to save and will need to come out
- You do not want healthy neighbouring teeth ground down for a bridge
How It Works
Step by step
Consult & assess
The gap, the bone and your general health are examined, and whether an implant will hold is confirmed before anything is promised.
The implant is placed
The titanium post is placed in the jaw under anaesthesia, in one sitting at the clinic.
Healing
The bone settles around the post over the following weeks to months. This patience is what makes an implant last.
The crown
A crown made for your mouth is fitted on the post — the tooth is back, and you use it like your own.

Benefits & Honest Pricing
What you gain — and what the cost depends on
- Fixed — nothing to remove, nothing that slips while eating
- Neighbouring teeth are left untouched, unlike a bridge
- Chewing feels like a natural tooth again
- Helps hold the jawbone in the gap, which a missing tooth slowly loses
What the price depends on: how many teeth are being replaced, the condition of the bone in the gap, and the crown chosen to go on top. After assessment you will be given the complete figure for your case — including the crown — before you decide.
Questions
Asked about this treatment
The placement is done under anaesthesia, so the sitting itself is not painful. A few days of soreness afterwards is normal and is managed with the medicines prescribed.
Placement is one sitting; the settling period after it is measured in weeks to months, and only then is the crown fitted. Rushing this stage is what makes implants fail, so the clinic will not rush it.
An implant that settles well and is brushed and reviewed like a natural tooth is expected to serve for many years. Your review visits are part of keeping it that way.
Age by itself is rarely the barrier — the condition of the bone and your general health matter more. That is exactly what the assessment visit checks.
Several implants can be placed, and a bridge can be carried on implants rather than on your own teeth. Your options and their costs will be laid out at the consultation.
